Initial Research Into Props For Our Short Film

Football:

The football is a very important prop that we need for our short film. It is going to be used twice throughout our film. Once in the opening of the film and then again later in a similar way.

Example of a Football.

We shouldn't need to purchase a new football as I have one and if that doesn't work then Jake also has one that we could use. I don't feel that it matters which football we use, although the colour of the football could assist in sending a message to the audience.

Video Games Controllers and Systems:

We also plan on having a series of shots of the protagonist and his friend playing computer games together. We plan on using a Wii U and or an Xbox system to shoot these shots. Which will look a bit like this: 

Desk & Computer:

We will also need a desk with a computer as we plan to have a scene where the protagonist discovers that his friend is dead via social media. The desk will also need a computer mouse as we plan on having a close up of the protagonists hand scrolling with the mouse.

Summary:

I don't feel like there will be any issues when it comes obtaining our props as most of them are things that we already own. Also, I think these props will be sufficient to fit our story.
