Creating the website prop - Pre-Production Planning

On of the props that we need for our short film is a website that tells the protagonist that his friend has been killed. This prop can easily be created in photoshop using the official BBC news website and changing it slightly.

Here is how we created the website:

1. We chose the news website that we would base our website on. For this, we chose a BBC News article (Figure 1).
2. Then we took a screen shot of this website and put it into photoshop (Figure 2).
3. Next, we took a picture of Connor who plays the friend how has been killed and we then placed this on the website (Figure 3).
4. After this, we changed some of the text on the website so that it is talking about information relevant to the story (Figure 4).
5. Finally, we saved the website as an image and will display it on a computer for the actual short film (Figure 5).
